No estamos solos! // We are not alone!

Últimamente hemos estado oyendo ruidos extraños en casa, golpes, voces que venían de fuera y nos hemos encontrado con mucho desorden de juguetes, además de miguitas por doquier. Mi marido, como buen pragmático que es, siempre ha defendido que son nuestras hijas las que hacen los ruidos por la noche o desordenan la casa. Pero no! Después de mucho pensar y barajar todas las posibilidades mis hijas y yo hemos llegado a una conclusión mucho más emocionante. Y la verdad es, que tenemos un hada en casa!!

Sí!, no os lo podéis creer, verdad? Nosotros casi tampoco, pero hoy hemos encontrado su puerta!!! Resulta que vive detrás de las paredes, en el mundo de las hadas y los elfos. Como Ben y Holly, se esconden de la gente grande, y especialmente de los adultos. Así que es muy difícil verlos. Sin embargo, nuestra hada ha decidido dar un paso más allá y unirse a nuestra gran familia abiertamente.

En el pasillo, a la altura del rodapie, casi imperceptible a los ojos adultos pero perfectamente visible para la vista de águila de los más pequeños de la casa, hemos encontrado la puerta a la casa de nuestra hada. Increíble verdad?!!!

Es indiscutible que ésta diminuta puerta es la entrada a un mundo encantado de hadas, elfos y magia que nos va a acompañar estas navidades por primera y que esperamos se quede con nosotros mucho tiempo.

Érika esta convencida de que ahí vive alguien. Después de intentar abrir la puerta y quitarla de la pared para ver lo que había detrás hemos optado por llamar a la puerta y ver quien nos abría. No debían estar en casa porque no ha abierto nadie, pero quién sabe cuando volverán, así que de momento seguiremos echando un ojo a esa puerta del pasillo y llamando de vez en cuando a ver si conocemos a nuestros diminutos vecinos.

Lately, we have been hearing strange noises, bangs, voices from outside and we have found a lot of untidy toys, apart from breadcrumbs everywhere. My husband, as the pragmatist that he is, has always defended that it is our own daughters who make those noises at night-time or untidy our home. But no! After a lot of thinking and considering all possible options, my daughters and I have come across to a much more exciting conclusion. And the truth is that we have a fairy at home!!

Yes!, you can’t believe it, can you? We neither, but we have seen her door today!!! Yes! it turns out that she lives behind the walls, in the fairies and elves world. As Ben and Holly, they hide themselves from big people, and specially from grown-ups?. Thus, it is very difficult to see one of them. However, our fairy has decided to take one step further and openly join our family.

In the hallway, at the level of the skirting, nearly imperceptible to the eyes of adults but perfectly visible to the eagle eye of the little ones of your house, we have found the door to our fairy’s house. Just incredible, right?!

It is undeniable that this tiny door is the entrance to a world of fairies, elves and magic which will accompany us for the first time this Christmas and which we hope stays with us for a long time.

Érika is fully convinced that someone lives there. After having tried to open the door and take it from the wall to see what is behind it we have opted to knock on the door and see who opened it. Nobody was at home as nobody opened the door, but who knows when they’ll be back. Thus, for the moment, we will have a look at the door in the hallway and knock from time to time to meet our tiny neighbours.
